I have about 2 1/2 inches clearance on each side of my table. Also, you will want to buy some soft pads for the legs of your TV to rest on or it will surely scratch the THIN VENEER of this cabinet.

Answer:	No, I would call it mostly light and darker tones of tan color with brown streaks of various sizes. It definitely looks weathered and very nice at the price I paid, anyway. (I do see the price has increased since, not sure I'd be willing to pay that price and probably would have gone for the tv stand without the fireplace insert.) I don't have it completely assembled yet and it is taking a lot longer than others have said, but I am taking my time and using wood glue to reinforce the hold of the dowels in place. The wood glue takes 24 hours to cure, and there are 26 of them. Since the dowels are mostly on each side of each piece, you can only do one side at a time on each piece. Time-consuming but worth doing it right. I like the color a lot and wouldn't have wanted a "gray" tone color, and it is definitely not that. Hope this helps!

Answer:	The base is about 10 inches in diameter and metal along with the the mounting shaft is also metal. I've got smaller Bose speakers they work fine. The 601 might fit and the weight might not be a factor but not sure

Answer:	The screw holes can pass M6 screws.
Question:	What are the dimensions of the rubber feet so that they can be replaced by carpet spikes
Answer:	No prblem replacing them. I am going to do the same thing. You will need the stability if your speakers are more than a couple of lbs a piece.

Answer:	It is a pair (2), they are great. I love mine.
Question:	Are you supposed to attach your speakers to the stands with screws
Answer:	You don't need to drill holes into your speakers as the speaker stands have adjustable clamps to lock the speakers in place. They also come with rubber pads that attach to the stand's speaker clamps. For extra security, you could replace the rubber pads with velcro strips.

Question:	can you fix the speaker to the stand to avoid it falling if bump into it
Answer:	There is no mechanical device equipped with this stand to attach the speaker to it. It comes with round rubber pads that you stick to the top of the platform and then set the speaker onto those pads. The pads are very grippy and hold the speaker securely. One would have to really bump into the speaker/stand to knock it off. I have purchased 2 sets of these stands for my equipment. They are a very good product which I can highly recommend.
Question:	Can you take the feet off the top so it's completely flat? Speakers i want to put on it are round and small, so the feet wouldn't be under them
Answer:	There are no feet on the top. There are some flat little stock in rubber grips that you can place wherever you like. Really like the stands myself.

Answer:	There are supports for the top of the desk that run along the front or back of the desk, if you pay attention to the orientation of these horizontal supports you can decide where to put the diagonal support.
Question:	Could this desk accommodate a clamp on keyboard tray
Answer:	It would depend on how it clamps on. The desk top is secured to the square tube metal frame. Also, it's probably too short overall to use a keyboard tray anyway, unless it's for a kid.

Answer:	It has two assembly heights to choose from, If you install it on the upper layer, you can put down the computer case.
