Answer:	Something like an atlas will not fit, but full sized novels are no problem. In addition, you can also shelve the books laying down.

Answer:	I am sorry but I returned that unit because of cracks in the bracing bars and the difficulty putting it together by oneself. I had ordered at the same time, the Casual Home 3 Shelf Folding Stackable Bookcase, Natural that was already put together. All one needed was to unfold it. It does not come with a topper shelf since it is stackable but you can order one. Prices range depending on color. I found a pink one for 4.99 with free shipping for the second unit after mailing back this one, thinking I would repaint it. Instead I just covered it with a pretty runner. I really like the casual shelving units. Now I have not stacked them, so can not comment how how stable but would expect that it would need to be secured to a wall. These wobble slightly but they are foldable which may contribute to that. One is completely full of books, the other has one shelf of cookbooks, another full of my jars of canned goodies from the garden, another with all my bowls and yet another with staples. The shelves height for the bottom 2 are slightly less than 12 inches while the top with no topper is up to you. With a topper, the height is 9 1/2 inches.

Answer:	The inner and outer pots are sold together, they form the unit

Answer:	One end of the wick will go up through the bottom of the inner black plastic "pot" or basket and will sit at the bottom of the root ball of the plant. Some people insert the wick into the root ball with a chop stick. The other end will be left to dangle inside the white, outter pot. This wick will pull water from the white pot up into the plant via capillary action. I'd look up water wick plant pots so that people can use this system properly.

Question:	Does the shelf get scratch easily
Answer:	The metal frame at the bottom of these partitions is fixed with screw holes. You can adjust the seat of the partition, but then there is no way to fix it with screws. You can adjust it according to your needs.

Answer:	The two end pieces need put together (part with the x’s) then the black piece that goes under each shelf get screwed in to the ends, then the shelves get screwed into over the black bars. It’s pretty easy! Took me 15-20 minutes.

Answer:	It is stable when it is not fixed on the wall, but it is better if you can fix it on the wall. Fixing on the wall prevents injuries and property damage caused by accidental overturning of furniture. They also provide hardware to fix the shelf to the wall.

Answer:	I agree with the previous answer, it does not have any holes in the bottom but a removable disk. Check the dimensions though, it's perhaps a little narrow and deep for a hanging basket? I use mine for geraniums in one of those wire plant stands that holds several pots. Great quality though I' clean mine out every year and reuse them.
