Answer:	They have a kind of plastic end cap on the chair legs. We have wood floors and they have never been scratched while sliding around. They are also on tight enough that I can not pull them off.

Question:	How do you unlock the table legs
Answer:	Flip the table so the top is on the floor. Each leg has two angle braces. One is solid, one is split. Strike the split brace in the middle with your palm or something hard as the brace is very tight. Do this on all legs and they will fold in and lock in the built in clamps. Very tight so be careful. Answer:	We found we had to place the table flat on the floor with the legs up and either with a strong foot or the use of a hammer to lock the legs. If we had known this we would not have bought it.

Answer:	The top is about 7/8ths of an inch thick. The sides are set back 1 1/4 inch from the top edges and are 2 inches tall, 3/4 inches thick. This a very solid all wood table all around. Hardware is solid, not cheap. Nice and sturdy, does not wobble. Finish looks very nice (I would put a tablecloth or other cover on it if using regularly, I use my 2 set next to each other for a computer on one end and the rest for a craft table so I have mine covered with a plastic desk cover to prevent damage). Very happy with these, simple but very classy look. I would buy another for other uses if I had the space.
