| Answer: | There is more foam on the 12 inch vs the 10 inch and while I have the 12 inch and my kids have the 10 inch I can tell you they are both very comfortable. I would like to put this in perspective we used to have standard spring based mattresses before so moving to anything like this was amazing however for me I like the 12 inch as the additional foam reduces the bounce from the springs more so than the 10 inch. |

The Gel-Infused Memory Foam Mattress Topper itself has no cover, but we had already purchased a washable cotton cover which we put over our mattress. Once the new Amazon Gel-Infused Memory Foam Mattress Topper arrived, we simply put the mattress cover over both the topper and the mattress. All fits fine. |
