Answer:	As KREX indicated, the easy outs in this set have a square drive at one end. A tap wrench would be the preferred tool to drive them, but the size/type/amount of space in which to work will determine which kind you can use. If you're in a large open area with no nearby obstructions to hinder turning it, you can use a full-sized tap wrench. If space is restricted (which is more common), you may need to use a small T-handle tap wrench. This latter type also is available with a ratcheting mechanism if you want that. I'm not fond of using an adjustable wrench; you give up some control and they're difficult to turn if space is limited, but if that's all you have at the time, use that. The T-handle is preferred as it can center all of the operator's force directly downward on the work at hand. Tap sockets are another good option when space is limited; they usually come as 1/4"- or 3/8"-drive for use with a ratchet. Depending on space, you may also need an extension to turn the easy-out. In a pinch, you could also use a 12-point socket that fits onto the easy-out's square drive.

I have no answer to the type of wood that it may be constructed from, but this may help: If I try to scar it with my fingernail on a flat surface, it will not mar or dent. I am able to slightly ding or dent the wood with a fingernail on a corner, though. Regardless, it is a beautiful and well-constructed box. It's definitely a good value, as I've since purchased a few more.

Answer:	I measured the depth under the tray using the dividers and found that I have 2-I 13/16" beneath the tray. I had a deck of cards but I'm unsure if they were standard size so I opted to proved the interior dimensions; 15-3/16"W x 7-1/8"D x 4-3/8" H and 2-13/16" under tray. The trays interior dimensions are 14-5/16"W x 6-3/16"D x 2-1/2"H and has an additional 1-7/8" under lid once closed.The box is made of 1/2" wood and the tray is made of 3/8" wood. All with interlocking straight dove tail corners. It has lasted several years with no sign of wear, it was made with great craftsmanship and materials!
