Question:	How much weight can the top hold
Answer:	I think a very light TV could go on there but I have books-a-plenty on mine and it seems fine. I think securing it to the wall would be more helpful for not having it tip over, though.
Question:	can the handles be removed if wanting to put different handles in place of the existing ones
Answer:	Yeah, you screw the handles on. There are two small screws, not one if that helps.
