Answer:	There were holes on the frame that you could use to attach a headboard, but they did not line up for me. I had a wood headboard so I attached a board brace across from leg to leg, drilled holes in the right place and attached the headboard that way. Everything comes stored packed inside the headboard. The only semi difficult part was screwing the slats down as there was no pilot holes drilled (pre drilled). The only thing that made it semi difficult, aside from my 2yr old trying to help screw the slats down, was the fact my dominant hand is the one that's broken. So I had to do it left handed. Thanks pine wood is soft and was easy enough to put the wood screws through.

Answer:	The platform height is approximately 13"-14" to the slats from the floor. With my 8" foam mattress the total height is perfect for me as at 67 years young, it enables me to get in and out of bed without major effort. You can raise the height of the bed by either using a box spring, a thicker mattress or 'bed risers' which can be purchased relatively inexpensively at most home improvement outlets. Hope this helps.
