Answer:	You can but this bed isn't designed for one so you have to remove the slats and place it in the floor. So basically the bed just becomes a shell around your matress/box springs. You also can't see the lights very well from the headboard if you do it because it lifts the mattress too high even if you adjust the headboard to the highest setting.

Answer:	Great question. Yes at 60 inches you should be fine unless the holes are in a location that doesn't line up with the holes of the new steel slat. For those that have wider widths like 61 inches or 61.5 included is one single steel L bracket to extend the rail and reach the extra distance. Finally you will need 6 nuts and bolts to connect this to your existing steel side rails. Only wood screws are included to attach to the side rails which obviously will not work. Answer:	This is a cool product I got for my step-granddaughters bday & she loves it. Im 39 & I sat on it & so did her father who is in his 30s & we thought it was comfortable.
