Answer:	We recently purchased this bedframe and have a 10" high full sz tuft and needle adaptive foam (memory foam) mattress. We are tall and weight proportional and this mattress does not slide, move, or sink thru slats. It looks great, clean lines and lots of storage underneath. Five stars from these two senior citizens!! Answer:	There were holes on the frame that you could use to attach a headboard, but they did not line up for me. I had a wood headboard so I attached a board brace across from leg to leg, drilled holes in the right place and attached the headboard that way. Answer:	It depends on the type of headboard you want to install. I have beautiful antique headboard & footboard which I no way would like to throw away. The boards come with slots at either end. There are pins at each end of groove or slot. The hardware is like prongs or teeth that rest on the pins that are embedded in the groove by the manufacturer of head and footboards. If you have such headboard than the best hardware is Ronan Factory.

Answer:	Bought this for my daughter. Had it around 6 months. She is a teenager and sometimes there are 3 teens sleeping on it and I have heard no squeaking or movement on our tile floors. Still seems solid, very happy with my purchase.

Answer:	The deluxe version has thicker rails and thicker panels on the headboard. The deluxe version is heavier in weight as well.
Question:	is this bed made of real solid wood? No fillers or glues or other materials added
Answer:	It is NOT pine, which is a soft wood. It is some kind of hardwood for the frame and legs and, I think, pine (not plywood as rep said) for the slats. It is finished to a bit like varnished pine or like a light golden oak. They've used some small pieces of hardwood compressed and glued, so that's what the erratic or zigzag colorations are. That saved those small pieces from a landfill somewhere, and that's a good thing.

Answer:	This bed is great for vigorous mental activity, vigorous television watching, vigorous reading. Physical activity, anywhere on the spectrum of vigor, not so much. The metal legs in the middle of the bed snapped off at the welds, the metal rail then bent, the bed collapsed in the middle, the broken metal supports dug holes in my newly finished hardwood floor. This was 2 months after purchase. Amazon wouldn't extend return. Zinus would not issue refund. Zinus would only send me exact same bed as replacement. I'm out the $100 I paid for assembly, plus my hardwood floor is wrecked.

Question:	The picture shows that you can basically put this inside of a bed to use as a box spring/base... has anyone tried to use it this way? Problems
Answer:	We have a queen cast iron bed with headboard, footboard, side rails, and bottom rails for box springs. This 60”x80” platform has recessed legs so we fit it down into the original bed frame without having to make any adjustments. We did not have to attach it to either headboard or footboard (they’re attached to side rails). It is exactly the size of a queen mattress.
Question:	Does this come with brackets for attaching a headboard or do you need to buy those separately
Answer:	somebody below stated that they had a traditional headboard that didn't work with the brackets cuz the holes were lower to the ground. MY HEADBOARD is an older (but rock solid wooden) Broyhill headboard and lined up with the holes and on the brackets PERFECTLY. Yes, the holes might be lower and the frame might be higher BUT the brackets are TEN inches from top to bottom and reach down low to where the mounting holes start just a few inches from the ground. My headboard attached to where it shares the weight of the mattress with the frame and due to the fact the old style bed-frame brackets were only about 4" tall this new type of bracket made by Zinus presses up against your bed-frame for 10" top to bottom making a MUCH MORE SOLID CONNECTION. My headboard is more solid than with any traditional bedframe (that held the box spring)......... EXCELLENT BRACKETS INSTALL IN MINUTES.....

It will support 2400 pounds of weight. unpacks and is ready to use in about 5 minutes. All you need to do it pull it out of the box, unfold it, attach the 2 wing nuts to the head and foot ends of the center posts. Put on your mattress and bedding. The queen frame weights between 30 and 35 pounds. The delivery box was 12-15 inches deep. You can easily carry the entire boxed frame up the narrowest stairwells. The box was size of a twin mattress folded in half, end to end. We give this product 5 stars for strength, ease of set-up, no mattress slide.

Everything comes stored packed inside the headboard. The only semi difficult part was screwing the slats down as there was no pilot holes drilled (pre drilled). The only thing that made it semi difficult, aside from my 2yr old trying to help screw the slats down, was the fact my dominant hand is the one that's broken. So I had to do it left handed. Thanks pine wood is soft and was easy enough to put the wood screws through.

Question:	Is there any thing we can buy to extend the legs more for it to be higher off the ground? I want to store containers underneath
Answer:	I purchased 2” bed leg risers for extra height underneath my bed for extra height space, I managed to put 8 storage containers with lids. I like the fact that all I have to do Is slide my mattress to the side either direction to get to them and by lifting the slats up instead of having to pull everything out underneath the bed and trying to guess What is where you can label the storage units too.
Question:	If you have attached a headboard, how have you done so
Answer:	I used heavy duty zip ties to strap the headboard to the legs. I only had 11" ties so I had to connect 2 ties together to make 1 strap around the leg of the frame and headboard. I put a tie close to the bottom of the frame leg/headboard leg and another around the leg of the headboard and the frame leg but this I also went around the top of the frame so that it wouldn't slip down. The ties hold the frame and headboard together so well they don't squeak when either is wiggled.
Question:	Will a trundle bed fit under frame
Answer:	no, a twin mattress will not fit under the bed because of center supports
Question:	did anyone notice that it is a bigger size then the mattress (king) 81x77 when the mattress is 80x
Answer:	The mattress rests inside frame to prevent slipping.
