Answer:	We recently purchased this bedframe and have a 10" high full sz tuft and needle adaptive foam (memory foam) mattress. Answer:	I have a king-size mattress with two box springs plus the added weight of myself 200lbs. My son that's 6'2" and is over 250lbs jumped on the bed and it did not break.

Answer:	I installed this frame for a seldom-used guest room bed. Here are two figures— bearing in mind that the bed is set up on wall-to-wall carpeting with about .25” ‘give’ at the bottom. From the floor to the bottom of the frame is 6”, if you’re thinking about sliding a storage drawer underneath the bed. But for figuring the ‘drop’ for a bed skirt — i.e. from just underneath the mattress down to the floor — i give it 7 inches. It’s surprisingly sturdy for the price, and the fact that it’s held together by gravity and friction/pressure.
Question:	can I attach a headboard to this frame
Answer:	Yes, depending on the headboard. My wife and I bought a new headboard and the holes did not line up. It wasn’t that big a deal, we just had to drill new ones. This doesn’t mean you’ll have the same issue, but just a heads up.

Answer:	There were holes on the frame that you could use to attach a headboard, but they did not line up for me. I had a wood headboard so I attached a board brace across from leg to leg, drilled holes in the right place and attached the headboard that way. Answer:	The platform height is approximately 13"-14" to the slats from the floor. With my 8" foam mattress the total height is perfect for me as at 67 years young, it enables me to get in and out of bed without major effort. You can raise the height of the bed by either using a box spring, a thicker mattress or 'bed risers' which can be purchased relatively inexpensively at most home improvement outlets. Hope this helps.

Step 1 is to put one of the sides on each head/foot (the two pieces will look identical at this point) Step 2 is then to screw these two sides together. Step 3 is to add the middle supports, both between the two sides and the two foot rests. It looks exactly as shown once assembled.
