Answer:	There were holes on the frame that you could use to attach a headboard, but they did not line up for me. I had a wood headboard so I attached a board brace across from leg to leg, drilled holes in the right place and attached the headboard that way. It was more trouble than I would have liked, but it worked.

Food could be an issue but with two of you, it's likely you could overpower some small creatures for a nice fire roasted dinner to keep you going. Now for the getting out part. Where this base is made to be compact for storage, you could carry it with you and use it as a bridge over any piranha infested waters. Answer:	I have a king-size mattress with two box springs plus the added weight of myself 200lbs. My son that's 6'2" and is over 250lbs jumped on the bed and it did not break.

Answer:	I installed this frame for a seldom-used guest room bed. Here are two figures— bearing in mind that the bed is set up on wall-to-wall carpeting with about .25” ‘give’ at the bottom. From the floor to the bottom of the frame is 6”, if you’re thinking about sliding a storage drawer underneath the bed. But for figuring the ‘drop’ for a bed skirt — i.e. from just underneath the mattress down to the floor — i give it 7 inches. It’s surprisingly sturdy for the price, and the fact that it’s held together by gravity and friction/pressure.
Question:	can I attach a headboard to this frame
Answer:	Yes, depending on the headboard. My wife and I bought a new headboard and the holes did not line up. It wasn’t that big a deal, we just had to drill new ones. This doesn’t mean you’ll have the same issue, but just a heads up.

Answer:	Combined weight of the people on this bed is up to 500 lbs. I would caution to NOT EXCEED 500 lbs and would actually conclude that 500 lbs is the maximum of the weight of the persona plus the weight of the mattress just to be safe.

Answer:	...The full frame is cut for a full mattress. Any bigger and your mattress will flop over the sides. Think for a second.

Answer:	The bed comes needing to be assembled. The parts are: 2 Bed Foot/Head (single piece each) 2 sides 2 foot rests 12 middle supports And all the screws you need to put them together, and even a hex wrench. The setup is laid out pretty straight forward for you in a 3-step process. Step 1 is to put one of the sides on each head/foot (the two pieces will look identical at this point) Step 2 is then to screw these two sides together. Step 3 is to add the middle supports, both between the two sides and the two foot rests. It looks exactly as shown once assembled.

Answer:	The metal slats click into the slots pretty easily. I'm using this as a day bed outside with a twin futon mattress on it and there's plenty of support and no noise.

Answer:	Yes, it does allow for a headboard to be attached. The legs supporting the 'head' both have two slots each that will accept bolts / screws. When the frame is fully assembled, the first slot on each leg is approx 5 and 1/4 inches from the ground, and the second slot is 7 and 3/4 inches off the ground. The slots themselves are roughly 1/4 inch wide, and could accept a variety of bolt widths.

Question:	What about weight limit for Queen size is it the same as King(550 lbs
Answer:	Bought this for my daughter. Had it around 6 months. She is a teenager and sometimes there are 3 teens sleeping on it and I have heard no squeaking or movement on our tile floors. Still seems solid, very happy with my purchase.
Question:	Can I use a box spring with this, too
Answer:	The deluxe version has thicker rails and thicker panels on the headboard. The deluxe version is heavier in weight as well.
Question:	Can I change the headboard on this bed
Answer:	It is NOT pine, which is a soft wood. It is some kind of hardwood for the frame and legs and, I think, pine (not plywood as rep said) for the slats. It is finished to a bit like varnished pine or like a light golden oak. They've used some small pieces of hardwood compressed and glued, so that's what the erratic or zigzag colorations are. That saved those small pieces from a landfill somewhere, and that's a good thing.
Question:	Will it withstand a lot of... rocking... without the screws coming loose
Answer:	This bed is great for vigorous mental activity, vigorous television watching, vigorous reading. Physical activity, anywhere on the spectrum of vigor, not so much. The metal legs in the middle of the bed snapped off at the welds, the metal rail then bent, the bed collapsed in the middle, the broken metal supports dug holes in my newly finished hardwood floor. This was 2 months after purchase. Amazon wouldn't extend return. Zinus would not issue refund. Zinus would only send me exact same bed as replacement. I'm out the $100 I paid for assembly, plus my hardwood floor is wrecked.
