Answer:	We recently purchased this bedframe and have a 10" high full sz tuft and needle adaptive foam (memory foam) mattress. Question:	Can this replace cheap wooden slats on a wooden queen platform bed that already has a steel center beam installed
Answer:	Yes and... No. You need to read the dimensions carefully. I ordered this item after reading the answer to this question, under the impression that it would be a simple replacement. It wasn't. That's because "Queen size" (or in my case "twin size" and "full size") is apparently a vague descriptor. The steel slats came about an inch short, so I had to spend a few hours reframing the bed, drilling, screwing. It was a pleasant weekend project, I suppose. These slats are excellent.
Question:	Could this fit on a basic metal bed frame and take the place of a box spring? It is for my daughter and i don't want it to be too tall for her

Answer:	There were holes on the frame that you could use to attach a headboard, but they did not line up for me. Step 1 is to put one of the sides on each head/foot (the two pieces will look identical at this point) Step 2 is then to screw these two sides together. Step 3 is to add the middle supports, both between the two sides and the two foot rests. It looks exactly as shown once assembled.
