Answer:	I slide the iron down close to the back of the holder and the 2 small tabs slide between the metal bottom plate of the iron and the plastic body of the iron on both sides to hold the iron in tightly. If you have a larger iron they may not fit but then the tabs at the front will hold your iron securely.

Answer:	I believe it would. It is silicone and the iron fits nicely on it. If you have water in the iron for steam it might spray on wood but as far as the heat from iron, I think your safe. You could always place a towel or something down first and then place the silicone on top of it to protect your wood.

Answer:	I am using this 24k gold face mask. I do n’t think you can do it. You have to dry it for 20-30 minutes, or until the mask is completely dry. Gently peel off the mask and rinse the face with cold water. Very smooth and firm, I'm satisfied

Answer:	There are no rubber pads on the bottom, but the plastic is smooth on the bottom (not rough). I don't ever drag it across the wood floors. I fold the arms and legs and carry it to the laundry room for storage after each use, so I haven't seen any damage to the floors.

Answer:	I think it is definitely not something you would want to travel with. Each of the two pieces are 2.5 feet long. The 3 legs on the tripod fold, but they take up about 6 inches. The arms on the top piece take up about 4 inches when folded.

Yes, after a fashion! We've heard lots of people use it like a garment rack for dance recitals, plays, and when they go to visit family. Folded up, the Single Tier fits in a box that is 33.7" x 7.375" x 4.625". The Double Tier fits in a box that is 42" x 7" x 5". So suitcases need to be at least as big to hold them!

Answer:	It's fabric with a heat liner inside, not a rigid bottom. The fabric is heavyweight, kind of like canvas, and the liner is that silver stuff. The top part of the bag is essentially all pocket where you can put your iron cord if you need to keep it away from the heat. It's really nice. I just have one, but am going to get another one of these days soon.

Answer:	i never tried folding it any more than it has originally came folded BUT this thing isn't that big or thick so i could see it definitely fitting in your luggage. You can probably even lay it out at the bottom of your luggage and pack everything else on top. I like it overall.

Answer:	I have both an ironing board and this ironing blanket. My ironing board is better for ironing detailed items such as corners of sleeves, etc. But, I have to say I love this ironing blanket. It's perfect for items that need a quick iron. I think I actually use this blanket more than my ironing board. It's small, foldable and quick to whip out. This is perfect for any college student!!

Answer:	Hi Marilyn. It can be used with steam, but no iron should ever be held down for "awhile". Irons should always be in motion, even if it's slow motion. Even when doing a press-on, the iron is moving around a bit. Test a surface, too. Run the iron at the lowest temp necessary for the material being ironed and then feel the surface (of the ironing pad/board). If it feels too hot or texturally different from the fabric around it, then it's not holding up to heat. This means the iron is too hot, the fabric too old, or the fabric is not intended for that use. This ironing pad is made from heat resistant polyester with a foam backing. It is made for ironing. We've had and sold this particular product for decades, so it's a reliable and popular one. It's simple, nothing fancy. But it gets the job done. Still, please don't leave an iron face down on things, just sitting there. Concentrated heat on any surface--even a heat-resistant one--can cause damage that proper use will not. This is precautionary tale, but since I cannot know what "awhile" is, I want to be cautious. Hope that helps!
