Answer:	It is not designed to be anchored down since it does weigh 13 pounds and has rubber feet to prevent moving. For chalkboard preconditioning see below. For some chalks this process allows the writing process to work better. Take a piece of chalk (use it’s side rather than the tip) and rub the entire surface vertically ensuring the board is covered. Wipe with a soft rag.

Answer:	The width of the door and side board are the same 1/2 inch.
Question:	what is the interior demension
Answer:	Some adjustment can be done with the hinges as there is some "play" available where they screw into the side boards, and within the hinge itself. One of my doors was very slightly warped, and I was able to mitigate that by adjusting the placement of the hinges. You might be able to play around with them to see if the doors will close satisfactorily. Also, make sure you don't tighten them overly tight so that the hinge itself warps. Good luck.
