It is molded to look like one of those really nice, vintage leather handles found on older, expensive instrument cases and fine luggage. I bought mine to replace the molded plastic handle I cracked on my SKF replacement guitar case, which is now almost 20 years old. Fit well, and works great. I am completely happy with the purchase and it seems to be very durable. Expecting many, many years of service. Hope that helps. |

| Answer: | I use these on custom-built guitar cases, and they work great. To mount them I use 6-32 thread oval-head machine screws, along with nuts & washers. I also use some thread-locking fluid on them, "just to be sure". The length of the machine screws would be whatever is appropriate for the thickness of the mounting point; for my needs the machine screws are 3/4" long. Flat-head machine screws would work, but I prefer the "look" of the oval-head slotted ones; the slotted drive (as opposed to Phillips) gives it more of an "old-school" look. |

| Answer: | No - there are no modes. Only on and off. The only adjustment is the focusing head which changes it from a spot with a nice hotspot to a even flood. |

| Answer: | More safe then a UV laser pointer. A quick accidental blast wouldn't do any damage. |

| Answer: | The heavy gauge clip can be placed at the front as well. There are two circumferential channels {near the head and at the bottom} which allow the clip to be utilized in the best position to suit your needs. |
