Answer:	Deborah, are you measuring from the top of the mattress or from where your present sheet starts ? I am trying to buy sheets online and I looked at the fitted sheet on my Queen bed tonight and I measured from the very top of the mattress to where it goes down and tucks under and my friend said I should measure from where my present sheet's seam starts. Then I realized that I didn't need a 16" deep pocket - I hope!

Answer:	I use and have used micro fiber sheets for 10 plus years. Many different brands, bought multiple years (for my boat) they are amazing to use HOWEVER they will always smell like polyester. ALWAYS FOREVER 40+ washes with different softener or temperature (dryer too) will never change the smell. That being said, the sheets are amazing, durable, soft, strong and easy to care. I just keep using febreeze type before use.

Answer:	LIES. These are not like luxury sheets. Yes they’re soft no you don’t slide off. Reminds me of soft flannel sheets but super thin.

Answer:	The ones we bought are made of "microfiber." But that's just a generic term: it simply means a very fine--small diameter--synthetic thread, finer than a strand of silk (which itself is very fine). The basic purpose of using microfibers is that they are very soft and, well, silky. Polyester, Nylon and Kevlar are all used to make microfibers. I remember something in the packaging mentioning "birch," as in the tree, being the source of the material. If that's the case then the microfibers would be cellulosic: Rayon or Viscose, which are soft and luxurious by nature. The fabric could also be a blend, say incorporating polyester microfibers for strength. Regardless, all of these fibers are reasonably stain resistant so I don't believe there is a separate treatment for that. And they're all hypoallergenic.But remember, I'm only guessing as to the chemistry of the actual thread.

Our sheets have an extra deep pocket (for regular King mattresses up to 16 inches deep) so if your California King mattress is 10-12 inches deep (or less) our King sheets may fit. Answer:	They have a unique feel that I wouldn't compare to cotton or microfiber. 100% Viscose from Bamboo is much softer to the touch than either of those two fabrics. They are also more "silky" and cool to the touch and, in general, feel more substantial over cotton and microfiber. I hope this helps!

Answer:	Our fitted sheet pockets are 16 inches deep. Our fitted sheets also include an extra strength 1-inch elastic band to ensure they never slip off your mattress.

Answer:	We recommend avoiding liquid chlorine bleach. Harsh detergents can do damage to fine linens and particularly high-quality sheets. Bleach can weaken the viscose fibers, reducing the life of your sheets. For stubborn stains, try spraying chlorine-free stain remover or a mixture of 1 tablespoon of vinegar with 4 tablespoons of water directly on it, then launder as usual. Stains from natural body oils or body lotions can be removed by prewashing your sheets in the washing machine with ¼ cup Dawn dishwashing liquid. Or, you can gently rub a few drops of Dawn and water into the stain, then launder as usual. Dawn is a natural de-greaser and works well on stains!

Higher thread counts are usually gimmicks.

For example, 1000 thread count sheets use 4-ply threads. 4-ply x 250 threads equal a misleading 1000 thread count. Fabric from multi-ply thread is weaker, coarser, and cheaper - less than half the cost of the premium fabric used by Bamboo Bay. The highest thread count possible when using single-ply yarn is usually 400 but achieving that thread count requires an extremely tight weave that reduces breathability and increases heat retention.

Answer:	Did you wash and dry them first as directed? I have not experienced any shedding, whatsoever. When I washed and dried the set before my initial use, there was no lint or threads in the washer or the dryer lint catch.

Answer:	No, I've been sleeping in them for about a week now and I don't find them to be hot. They've been very comfortable. I like them. I was worried about that too, but they are fine!

Answer:	Technically there is no "thread count" as they are microfiber sheets, not cotton. They are about 90 GSM which is comparable to say 500 thread count sheets. Microfiber is a softer yarn than cotton.

Answer:	I thought the relatively low price was because it was a lightning deal last week, so I jumped on it.
