Answer:	I have them both as well and yes it is cooler than the non-gel version. It also feels firmer and a much better nights rest. I recommend this over the non-gel version.
Question:	How does the 10" mattress compare to the 12" for firmness
Answer:	The gel infused mattress is cooler. I have 2 of these mattresses. I have the 12” and the 14”. The 14” is much softer. Also, I had a mattress protector on it the first few nights and it made it so hot. Don’t use a mattress protector. You are negating the cooling technology of the mattress. As soon as I removed the protector, it was comfortably cool.
Question:	Is this exactly the same as the 12 inch green tea mattress but cooler
Answer:	It may depend on your weight but no, I don't sink a lot. It has several layers of foam at different densities that prevent sinking too much
Question:	What difference does the gel make vs the other Zinus 12" Memory Foam green tea mattress
Answer:	Mine never did. 14 in one place. 11 1/2 to 13 in others.

Answer:	I don’t think so. We could rig something pretty easily but I specifically bought this because it is the only frame I could find small enough to fit into a built in alcove in my home

Answer:	You could but it is quite high with the box spring and a mattress, This is a replacement sort of for a boxspring. But my daughter loves it with the boxspring in the mattress making it very high
