Answer:	No, you should not use a heated mattress pad or warming layer with an adjustable bed. I have a Sleep Number bed that is adjustable. I purchased a Sleep Number bed "warming layer", thats what they call it, for a Christmas present for us. When we went to make the bed, my husband noticed on the packaging, "Do Not Use With An Adjustable Foundation Bed". So, I called the Sleep Number customer service number and was told to return it for a full refund because it becomes a fire hazard with the constant rising and lowering of the bed. It bends the wires/coils over time and makes it dangerous to use. They said they are working on the technology to create one that can be used with an adjustable bed. They also said if we nevered used the adjustable feature it would be safe to use, however, my husband and I set up the head of the bed to watch tv every night. I hope this helps!

Question:	Can you feel the cords running through the pad? Or is there a thick enough foam that you can't feel it
Answer:	It is not foam it is some sort of a fibre. If I press down on the pad with my hand and run my hand over the item in question I can feel them. I never feel them when laying on it, not at any time. As a matter of fact I had to think about it when the question was asked. So no I don't feel the wires when laying on the mattress cover.

Answer:	On the Queen there are separate controls. I would imagine that the King has separate controls also. The Full does not have separate controls.
Question:	with a king size pad...where is the outlet to plug it in? at the end of the bed
Answer:	The directions say to put it at the foot of the bed!! But I have an outlet in my headboard so I put the plug at the head of my bed!! Then there are no cords running under the mattress!! I have been using it about 4 months and there has been no issues!!

We called the 800# yesterday morning to ask about the warranty. After doing a test with the controllers as directed by the customer service representative, she determined it was the pad and therefore the company would send us a new pad in 7-10 business days. The pad arrived today, the day after the call.

Answer:	It is washable. Detailed instructions come with it. Machine or hand wash. Never dry clean or use bleach. Disconnect cords from pad. Place in machine and fill tub with warm water. Add small amount detergent and soak for 5 mins. Agitate on gentle or delicate for 2 mins. Spin on normal speed. Fill tub for cool rinse. Agitate for 1 min and spin dry. Never put thru wringer. Never use commercial dryer. Too hot. Damages cords. To machine dry put in your dryer on low heat and tumble til dry. Assure your pad has room to tumble. Or, line dry with head and foot ends down. That's all. Great item. Love it. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I don't know! Sometimes I leave mine on all night and other nights turn it on or off during the night. I absolutely love it though. So glad I got it. I ended up getting two. Do you want it on more than 10 hours?

Answer:	This answer was found on the WWW : My new blanket works great. Then I changed my sheets and would get the F2 problem. Very consistent after 5 tries with F2 blinking by unplugging at wall outlet and comes on with F2 blinking. Let it rest a night and still the same. Then I unplug it at the blanket. Hmm, notice a pin was lower than the others. PUSH BACK IN FIRM and tried again. Perfect.

Answer:	I have a power bed .... but pad only lasted 7 months.... only 3 months of use. Nothing to do with the power bed I would imagine. I think the matress pad wires just broke from laying in them.
Question:	Where's the location of the plug on the pad itself? If fitted will it be on top of the bed
Answer:	I bought the Full size and the plug is dead center and perfectly placed so the heel(s) of my feet land on it. So basically my feet hit it all the time and it's rather annoying. Not as annoying as the low power output, which is enough to break the chill of a cold bed but warm is not a word I'd use. So if you get it you may want to put the plug on the head side, but I don't do this because I did that with my last pad and the pillow held the heat in so the insulation on the wires and the blanket around them had turned brown. Clearly a potential fire hazard but that pad had three times the power of this one so I doubt this one is a risk, but something to think about.

Answer:	No, it's not noisy at all. I have both the box spring and the mattress for my queen sized bed covered, and there's absolutely no noise. I don't even know its there until I change the sheets. I should also add that it might seem to be superfluous if you have no reason to think you'd have a bed bug problem. I would not have even thought of it until I read the terms of my lease. It expressly stated that the property owner would have no liability should there be any issue with bed bugs. I have never experienced bed bugs, but when I read that disclaimer, it occurred to me that I was moving into an apartment that the previous tenants had lived in. Suppose the prior tenants introduced bed bugs via their mattresses? That would be my problem, not the property owners, under the terms of my lease. Although the magnitude of the risk might be low, the consequences would be terrible, and it would be entirely my problem to solve, under the terms of my lease. So if it turned out there were bud bugs left from a prior tenant, these products would at least ensure that the bugs would not be able to take up residence in my high quality mattress and box springs. Answer:	It is machine washable, best in a HE machine as they are more gently. It's also machine dryable but the top of mine shrank so it no longer spans the entire width of the bed after about 4 washes.

Answer:	The pad comes with ONE controller. Since the unit is wireless, Sunbeam sends each unit with a unique frequency so that several pads may be used in the same household. We place ours on top of the beadspread between us and it just floats around on the surface. Since the unit remembers your previous setting, once you find your ideal setting, you can place it anywhere you like.
