Answer:	It depends on how hot your pan is; A microwaved dish or the inside of an instant pot isn't going to usually get much hotter than 200 at most. It just isn't very hot and you could hold them all day. A cookie sheet that has been in the oven at 350, you'll start to feel it in a 5-10 seconds and depending on your sensitivity to heat will probably start to get uncomfortable very quickly after that unless you're doubled up. A pizza stone at 500 you're going to burn the crap out of yourself practically immediately. I'm not sure I'd even trust that temp with a doubled mitt. These aren't designed for that kind of heat.

Answer:	They are my all time favorite pot holders. The neoprene feels rubbery and is textured. They bend very easily to grip pan handles, cookie sheets or even to help loosen jar tops!

Answer:	I don't have a dishwasher so I can't say with 100% certainty, but these can take much higher temperatures than your dishwasher could ever put out. I believe these are good to about 400 degrees F and your dishwasher might get as high as 130 degrees F max. I just rinse mine off under hot water after using them and they clean right up. If they have flour and oil on them, I just add some soap and they wash off in about 5 seconds. The only bad thing i can see about washing these in a dishwasher is having them blown off from wherever you put them by the spray and maybe jamming one of the spray wands. They are pretty light and there is not much to hold them down. I love mine and use them a lot. They clean easily.

Question:	Can I order extra shams
Answer:	I use them to get things from the microwave all the time. What I do is put both mitts on and holding on to one side of the plate, I push my other hand (and mitt) under that side. You can get a very good grip. It does go deeper onto the plate so if the food goes to the edge of the plate, the mitt will be into the food. I couldn't use regular mitts any more due to severe arthritis - I needed something that would grip the plate, pan, bowl for me. These do a great job.

Answer:	I have never burned milk in mine. This pitcher is specifically for frothing milk (the lower the fat content the better) with the steam nozzle on a cappuccino machine. While applying direct heat to the pitcher won't hurt it, there would definitely be a risk of burning the contents.
