It is very light, not squishy, but super warm. We are going to take it off the bed soon as it is too warm for spring and summer. We are very happy with it, too warm if anything.

Whether it's open or closed baffle-box I don't know, but I always fluff up my duvets at least once a week anyway, and this keeps the down from shifting around. It's a lovely duvet and wonderfully light and cozy!
