I simply keep the heater off at night, and I'm fine! I have vaulted ceilings and my house hangs around the low-mid 60s during winter, low-mid 70s during the summer. I'm sure you'll need the fan on during the summer if the house gets very warm, like you would with any other cover.

Answer:	you can machine wash however we do recommend using a professional sized washing machine so it does not clump or tear. Cool water wash is best it will not shrink.

Answer:	No, I got the yellow/grey one. They are aligned, not diagonal, with the corner.
