Question: does this keep you really warm
Answer: I don't have this particular comforter, but I sewed loops on the one I have and buttons on the covers. I put them in each corner and in the middle of each side to make it stay put, but it can be challenging to get the cover on and all buttoned up without twisting the cover or the comforter. With loops already on the comforter, it should be easy to add buttons to your cover, just make sure you have the right size buttons or sew up the loops to make them fit snug. My comforter is full/queen.
Question: Is the king size easy to wash in a standard washing mashine? Washes well
Answer: I'm honestly not sure, I grew up in the Philippines and Im used to really hot weather, so I get cold fast. It doesn't really get cold in Cali but it's cold enough, I just got this comforter and it's about 80 here in LA during the day now.. And I still use it, I sleep with my windows open and I think it's about 50 or 60 at night. Not too cold. I think it's good all year round. It's pretty light. I don't know if that answered your question. Also I don't know about the sizes but I got a green comforter so I look for queen size duvet covers.

Answer: Not as warm as the heavy down comforter that we previously used but you could always add a blanket under it and then it would be REALLY warm. I think it is plenty warm but my husband thinks not......... :)
