Answer:	I have not and would not recommend machine washing this lovely blanket. Mainly because the waterproof backing may be easily punctured or torn in the wash. It is a beautiful blanket that I am very pleased with but if machine washing is a deal breaker you may need to keep searching. Anything with a waterproof backing will be difficult to machine wash. It is lightly colored, so in the event of spills or stains I would suggest dabbing and spot cleaning with something like Folex in a spray bottle, that stuff is golden. However, in a situation where you feel like you MUST try machine washing it (such as attempting a wash would be the only chance to salvage it) I would bear in mind the behavior of your particular washing machine, fold it in half lengthwise, backing on the inside so it wasn't exposed, and use a gentle cycle. Definitely avoid the dryer.
