Answer:	That has never been a problem for my daughter. We have had ours almost a year. She sleeps on it every night and it is in wonderful shape. Great product

Answer:	The "fur" on the pillow is removable and washable. It seems to protect the pillow quite well to some extent. I do not know of any pillow cases for it. I have washed the removable portion, and it comes clean easily and remains soft.

Answer:	My daughter doesn't use it for that purpose but just in general it is a bit harder than we thought it would be. So if your child likes a soft pillow, it probably wouldn't be a good fit for a nap.

Answer:	I bought it for my son who is 27 to replace a "pillowkin" pillow he had since he was 2 years old. They don't make the "pillowkin" anymore. He didn't like it as well but it is soft and cuddly.
