Answer:	It might say it but it’s not. Well under 500lbs and it wouldn’t hold me. It wobbled and then fell backwards, and that was only from the 2nd step. If you are over 300lbs would not recommend this step ladder.

Answer:	Yes. I assume you wonder if it slips or damages the flooring? The step-stool has hard rubber (or maybe it’s a plastic” ends (“grippers”) on the meets-the-floor pipes. As long as the floor is level and you use a reasonable amount of caution (like, don’t put anything under the stool, be cautious not to drag or scrape it along the flooring, etc.) I’d say, yes.. I use it on a hardwood flooring, that isn’t laminated, but is polished. I’ve had no trouble with slipping nor have I seen any damage to the floor.

Machine wash the set ALONE in cold water with mild detergent on a gentle cycle in a front load washer. Use only non-chlorine bleach when needed. Do not use fabric softeners because they clog the open spaces in the microfiber, making the fabric unbreathable. If you hand wash, wash in cold or warm water with mild detergent and use a soft bristled brush if necessary – rinse thoroughly. To ensure the longest lasting set, air dry is best. Microfiber dries relatively quickly. If you use a dryer dry the set ALONE in low heat or no heat setting.
