Answer:	Probably - but I wouldn't recommend it. My 4.5 month old has pretty much outgrown it. Plus I think it works best with newborns in prevention of flat spots - don't know that it will help a 6 month old much since they can move so much more. I loved it for my newborn though.

Answer:	Mine is neither. Remember they get softer as time goes on and will flatten a bit. From end to end before the velour ends start it is 11 1/2 inches long..If I flatten my hands against it it will stretch to 14 inches. The sides are still 6 inches and when not being touched it's about 5 inches... I use mine all the time and I want it to be flexible enough to move under my neck and head. I like these pillows but to do all over again, I think I'd go a bit bigger ( longer).

Answer:	I think the reason they do not post the size on this site is because they come in many different sizes. The one I just got is 6"W x 12" L and packed so tight it pushes my head from the back of the sofa and very uncomfortable. Definitely not a neck pillow.
