Answer:	What I did to help with the smell was to dry it in the dryer with no heat for more than the 5 mins stated (actually about 40 total). Then 24 hours under the ceiling fan. That reduced the smell considerably to the point of useability. I’ve had mine for a few months now and they don’t have a smell anymore. Hope that helped and good luck!

Wowwwwwwww.....your question just taught me something. You can definitely remove it! There is a zipper underneath the bottom, so that you can remove it. I threw away the paper with possible washing instructions though. There is a detachable head pillow & you can remove that cover as well. I would probably wash in cold water to make sure to limit shrinkage though. Thanks for your question. It taught me something!😁

Please take out of the box and remove the wrapping then, massage the pillow for 5 minutes, or taking it into the dryer (NO heat) for 5 minutes. Allow 24 hours for pillow to completely rebound.
