Answer:	I’m not sure as I purchased for my daughter who lives in Everett and I was not there when she set it up. If I have to guess probably 1.5” diameter the rods are square shape and the black coating would scrape off if u put metal grommets up. My daughter says she put soft long sheer panels up from ikea and fastened by tying the fabric to secure it. It is a very sturdy frame- if using modern foam mattress I recommend getting a flat board to put under the mattress as the slats will leave indents and potentially make mattress lumpy over time without flat support of wood. Question:	How high off the ground is this bed
Answer:	It all depends on your mattress/if you’re using a box spring as well. The frame itself is about 4-5inches off the ground.
Question:	Does this bed frame look weird without a box spring under the bed
Answer:	No. However, the mattress can sink in between the metal frames after awhile. It happened to me. It’s very spaced out so there isn’t too much support without a box spring. I’d suggest using one or opting for like a 4in split box spring just for support.

Answer:	Nope. Squeaks like it’s crying but solid.

Question:	Does this canopy have a top that goes over the bed
Answer:	Yes, it does! Please realize it comes packaged in a silver outer wrap and then was zipped in an orange bag inside the outer wrap. Once we discovered it was double wrapped, we found a beautiful feminine canopy that lookes exactly as the picture. It even has the tie backs etc. to put on and secure the canopy. I put if over my granddaughter's bed, which is a hump canopy and it looks beautiful. I would highly recommend for the price!
