Answer:	I just ordered these towels for my guest bath. Hope they are absorbent.I see some reviews say they are not. Does everyone know you do not use fabric softener on towels. It makes fabric not absorbent. PS This is why Queen Elizabeth has her towels ironed. They know not to use fabric softener, thus, have to iron them! I don't iron mine of course but all my towels are absorbent.

Answer:	I don't know what you mean by "shedding" but no fibers or anything come off the towel say when your drying yourself off with them. In my experience when buying new towels (any brand of new towel) it takes about 3 maybe 4 washings and dryings of the new towel before you don't see that much "LINT" on the dryer screen. First couple of times when pulling the dryng screen out there is typically a thick blanket of lint covering the "lint screen" but thats what i've come to expect with brand new towels. These are worth buying. Im happy with everything in this set.

Answer:	Towels will still be dry after shower. Very decorative. Tough to wash. The shedding and the lint factor is annoying. I bought maroon, so I have maroon lint all over me after shower. I've had these towels for months and I constantly wash them hoping the lint will wash away. The wash cloths only lasted for a few washings, they shredded, had to throw them away. I use the hand towels for decoration, haven't washed them very much. My advice for wet towels is dry them by spreading them out on the towel rack and leave bathroom door open so towels can air dry.

Also you should always wash any fabric whether it be clothes, towels, bed sheets before using because of the chemicals, Urea formaldehyde, that's used to set in the dyes/color to the fabric. These dyes can cause severe skin reactions for people similar to a poison ivy rash or less severe reactions like dry, itchy inflamed patches of skin. Also It is possible to transfer lice, scabies, bacteria, and fungus from one person to another person especially if it's clothes because most have been touched or tried on. Stores & Dressing rooms can become breeding grounds from everything from bacteria, viruses to athlete's foot.

In order to decrease the risk of color bleeding use half the amount of detergent that you would normally use along with ½ to 1 cup of white vinegar (about 120-240 mL).

- Wash towels separately from all other items of clothing as it will decrease the transfer of towel lint to other clothing.

- Use warm water to wash towels in order to avoid color bleeding.

- Always use a mild detergent when washing towels.

- Do not use fabric softeners as they decrease the life and fluffiness of your towel by breaking down the fabric.

- Do not use bleach at any stage of washing and drying.

Drying Instructions

Before drying your towels, toss them lightly to make sure that the fibers on the surface of the towels stay fluffy. After that, follow the instructions below to dry your towels:

- If you are using a dryer, use the high heat setting. Be careful though, you should not over-dry the towels. You should remove the towels from the dryer when they are 95% to 97% percent dry.

- Hang them up afterward in an area with good air flow. If towels are damp, you should never hang them over one another.

- Dry the towels immediately after washing them. You can rotate and turn over your towels periodically to ensure an even dry.

- It is best to dry your towels in direct sunlight. Do not use an iron on these towels.

Question:	Where are these made
Answer:	I'm sure they are not from this country. They don't look like our towels. The edges are serged, like little x's on all the edges not looking like our towels. Having said that, my granddaughter loves the way they feel so we kept them. I'll see how they hold up when they are washed a few times. Don't think they will. I wouldn't buy them again.

Answer:	I tried verifying the tags but they are tags free towels. I would say is cotton cause they extra soft, but I'm not 100% sure.

Wash Care Instructions

• Before you start using your towels, it is advised to wash them to remove the excessive lint that is left over during the manufacturing process. In order to decrease the risk of color bleeding use half the amount of detergent that you would normally use along with ½ to 1 cup of white vinegar (about 120-240 mL).
• Wash towels separately. Use warm water to wash towels in order to avoid color bleeding.
• Always use a mild detergent when washing towels. Do not use fabric softeners as they decrease the life and fluffiness of your towel by breaking down the fabric.
• Do not use bleach at any stage of washing and drying.

Drying Instructions

• Before drying your towels, toss them lightly to make sure that the fibers on the surface of the towels stay fluffy.
• If you using a dryer, use the high heat setting. Never over-dry the towels. Remove the towels from the dryer when they are 95% to 97% percent dry.
• Hang them up afterward in an area with good air flow. If towels are damp, you should never hang them over one another.
• It is best to dry your towels in direct sunlight. Do not use an iron on these towels.
