Answer:	I just ordered these towels for my guest bath. Hope they are absorbent.I see some reviews say they are not. Does everyone know you do not use fabric softener on towels. It makes fabric not absorbent. PS This is why Queen Elizabeth has her towels ironed. They know not to use fabric softener, thus, have to iron them! I don't iron mine of course but all my towels are absorbent.

WASHING GUIDELINE

Washing used towels is important to maintain good hygiene and freshness. Towels that have been washed and dried properly will stay mildew-free for longer, saving you money and shopping time.

THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW CAN BE APPLIED TO HAND TOWELS OR BATH TOWELS.

1. It is advisable to wash towels before the first use, it helps in removing excessive lint that is left over during the manufacturing process.

2. Machine wash in cold water with like colors.

3. Use a mild detergent when washing towels.

4. Use only non-chlorine bleach when needed.

5. Do not use fabric softeners as they decrease the life and fluffiness of your towel by breaking down the fabric.

6. Tumble dry low

DRYING INSTRUCTIONS

Keeping towels in the dryer after they are already dry will damage the fibers and weaken your towel. Check on small loads before the cycle is finished, simply by opening the door. If they're already done, cancel the drying cycle and remove the towels.

If your towels are slightly damp at the end of a drying cycle (at least 95% dry), it may be more economical to hang them up to dry in open area with good airflow instead of running your dryer again.

Answer:	Yes, we like these towels very much. Wash and dry well, nice and fluffy, yet absorbent.

Answer:	Not at all. The package of four towels, folded so that each towel had 8 layers on top of each other (fold in half, then half again, then half again) were a total depth of under 5 inches. The package was not compressed. The towels are sturdy, normal towels but relatively THIN towels. If you are looking for plus towels, look elsewhere.

Answer:	Good morning! I washed our towels in hot water with Tide and Snuggle liquid softener. Make sure you don't use too much detergent and just half of the softener. Dry them on medium with fabric sheets and you should end up with a nice fluffy towel. The more you use them and wash them the softer they will become. Mine took a couple of washes. Good luck!!! They're really nice towels...

Answer:	The diamond weave ones I received were close to 15 oz each after one or two washes.

Answer:	I do not have any iformation about last season.. To my knowledge these towels have been made in the same manner for thousands of years barring modern color and modern cottons... The diamond weave is just that.. Diamond pattern .. I bought black... They have very minimal pilling of material and dry very well.. I do not use fabric softener because it acts like a wax on fibers.. So this is chemical free wash soap and into the dyer .. Do not expect fluffy .. These are thin towels... They remind me of towels my Grandmother used.. Made extremely well... Texture is not rough but again it won't feel soft and luxurious ..
