The name of this pestemal LYCIA was a geopolitical region in Anatolia in what are now the provinces of Antalya and Mugla on the southern coast of Turkey, and Burdur Province inland. Known to history since the records of ancient Egypt and the Hittite Empire in the Late Bronze Age, it was populated by speakers of the Luwian language group. Written records began to be inscribed in stone in the Lycian language (a later form of Luwian) after Lycia's involuntary incorporation into the Achaemenid Empire in the Iron Age. At that time (546 BC) the Luwian speakers were decimated, and Lycia received an influx of Persian speakers. Lycia fought for the Persians in the Persian Wars, but on the defeat of the Achaemenid Empire by the Greeks, it became intermittently a free agent. Answer:	Yes, we have washed them many times and they look great. We are full time RV'ers and they dry faster than regular towels. I'd recommend them to anyone.

If it was polyester, it would be even softer but it would cause wrinkles. that's why I don't understand why you think that it feels lile a polyester. If you have not washed them, wash before using. But if you like traditional and softer towels, this may not be for you. "

Answer:	Yes, they do soften up with every wash and tumble dry. The thing to remember is that this is a completely different kind of towel, very thin and absorbent, but fast drying. If you use fabric softeners heavily they may be less absorbent. I use dryer sheets and the towels are nicely absorbent.

• You may add a small amount of white distilled vinegar to keep it extra fluffy
