Answer:	I didn't have any issues with the pole, it fit perfectly in the base. I will say that even though I liked the towel rack, I just threw it out after only just over a year. The base left rust stains on my patio. I live in a humid area, the towel rack is under a covered patio but still left rust from the metal reinforcement ring.

Answer:	There is small clear rubbery-plastic insert between the ring and the wall mount that keeps it from flapping around. No wall banging. :)

Answer:	You could probably wrench them out with needle nose pliers, maybe. But if you do manage to get them out, the ring itself will flop around, possibly banging into the wall and marring it.

Answer:	I don’t think so. It’s a two part wall attachment. You need to install the small bracket first and side the towel bar over it.

Answer:	This is not a curtain rod. This is only for towels. Usually it’s placed above the toilet for hand towels. If that makes sense. You can remove it, by uninstalling it if it was installed incorrectly.

Answer:	I'm sorry to hear that you did not receive the instructions. Here's a copy: 1. Invert the Base and fill with water, sand or fine gravel. Insert Base Plug. 2. Using the Pipe Connector provided, insert the Connector between the Upper and Lower Stem and tap on hard surface until Stem fits securely. Install: Two #6 x 1/2" screws at Pipe Connector after assembled. 3. Insert the Stem Assembly into the Base and push down until Stem fits securely and is flush with the bottom of Base. 4. Slide Crossbars through holes in Upper Stem and slide the End Caps onto each end. I just realized, if you didn't receive the instructions, you probably did not receive the screws since those two come together. On my stand, the stem fits very snugly into the connector, and I don't feel that it will come apart without the screws. You can always contact the seller you purchased from and request the missing parts.
