Answer:	Do you mean the screen or the projected display being on & off? It is normal to see the screen goes dark (3% brightness) during the WWVB signal receiving period. There are several times during the day the radio signals are broadcasted, hence the screen will go dark but will go back to normal when the receiving is over.
