Answer:	It is either PVC or Acrylic plastic construction with a toothbrush separator of flexible material imbedded. There should no issue cleaning the insert in the top of a dishwasher AS LONG AS you do not heat dry. The insert can be easily hand cleaned, so dishwasher is not really necessary.

Answer:	No it does not hold toothpaste.

Answer:	No, it will not fit if you want to have your toothbrush perpendicular to the base of the stand as shown in the picture. My toothbrush is 7 1/2 inches high. The only way to make it fit is to place the toothbrush at an angle taking up 2 of the 4 quadrants of the base. Even doing this does not permit the cup to fit perfectly flush on the stand. However, the cup will cover the toothbrush and it is secure enough to remain in place.

Answer:	I would say no, the 9000 uses a trickle charger. This is a link to the charger needed (US version, UK would be 220v) but the model number on the two (US & UK models) are identical. If this unit was compatible with the genius 8000 I would say maybe but I'm not certain of the model number on the 8000's charger so I can't say for certain. However, I do t think this unit comes with the actual charger, I think you slip yours in so if that's the case then absolutely yes.

Answer:	I don't know I have a Oral B and their brush heads
Question:	Does this work with Water Pik tips
Answer:	I am not sure, but I can tell you the inside dimensions of this holder. The top opening is 11/16" that tapers down to 1/2" on the bottom. The holder is 1" tall. My toothbrush is 9/16" at the bottom so it goes in the opening about halfway but it still works perfectly.
Question:	Will the new oral-b io brush heads, which aren’t the same as the regular oral-b brush heads
Answer:	No, waterpik brush heads do not fit in this holder
Question:	Will this hold the Oral B brush heads upright
Answer:	My 4-brush holder has never tipped over. It is a light piece of plastic.
