Answer:	As the caddy won't contact with water directly then there should be no issues with the standard steam that you get when you have a bath. They are coated with a varnish to protect the wood. If your caddy does get wet, wipe it down with a dry cloth and leave it to dry it will be fine

Answer:	it is really stable on it's feet. I have stuff in the top 2 shelves and nothing in the bottom two, but mine is stable as can be in the corner of my shower! However, as I type this I realize that I have a flat bottom walk in kind of shower and not a bathtub type enclosure. Just a thought.
Question:	Does this sit on the edges of the tub
Answer:	I put mine in the corner of my tub, and it was VERY unstable. Because I didn't feel like sending it back, I just put a screw through the upright (in the back/middle) and into the shower wall to anchor it in place. I know this isn't ideal, but I did use silicone where the screw went through my fiberglass shower kit...so it should be fine. Without somehow positiviely securing this unit to the wall, I woudl NOT recommend this for a bathtub corner installation as it would be able to slide off and tip over much too easily.
