Answer:	1-1/4" at top, 1" at bottom, 1-5/16" tall

Answer:	I measured the opening on the small end of the cork and that is 1/2 inch in diameter. So you would only have a 1/8 inch left after shaving it off. I don't think that would work.

Answer:	I used mine for liquid hand soap, but the pump would be big enough for lotion and the opening is large, so you could easily pour lotion into the dispenser.
