Question:	Has anyone tried washing this in the washing machine yet, and if so, how did it turn out
Answer:	I honestly didn't consider that. I wash it with hot water and a disinfecting bathroom cleaner using a big sqishy clean sponge. Then I just used one of those eraser sponges over it, both top and suction cup bottom, and ten minutes or less later, it looked brand new. This mat by design, I'm guessing, doesn't get really yucky underneath, which is great by me, bcuz cleaning a bath tub mat shouldn't be a giant job.

Answer:	The manufacturer states several times that it is machine washable. Quite a few positive reviews confirm that it is machine washable, but one negative one states that machine washing did not remove mold, and another states that it fell apart in the washer.
