I did try to slide it, but found it to be stable as long as I wasn't lifting it on the edge. I would think that using many of them might increase the chance of "lifting" the edge and then possibly sliding. Personally, I find this to be as stable as mats with suction cups.

Answer:	Supracor Bathmitts the All Black and All Magetna will be a firmer material, all other colors will be softer.
Question:	With holes throughout, will hair or soap get stuck underneath while shampooing
Answer:	I have just spoken to Supracor and they did the research n called me back promptly. They do not use Triclosan in their products. Question:	How do you wash this shower mat? Can it be machine washable
Answer:	Yes, two boxes with seven in each, thanks.

Answer:	Yes it does, but the pop up feature is faulty. Atleast in the one I bought for my nephew
Question:	Does the water drain through the whole thing? Not just the center
Answer:	No, tennis balls would be too heavy. The lightweight plastic balls included with the machine work best. It's a great batting machine! My kids love it
Question:	What does the surface of the mat feel like
Answer:	Thank you for asking. I have not used personally and judging from what I know, while it trains a young athlete, it may come up too high if he is average height. See photos online if able. The strike zone they illustrate looks to be a boy of at least 5 years old. I hope this helps.

Answer:	Fast enough when fully loaded the batter can get his stance set again and it's ready to pitch another ball. I bought for three year old.
