Answer:	Yes, it certainly does. As soon as you turn it on, it will vibrate and make a low key humming noise. It vibrates most on the end of the "legs" of the product, the "feet" I would call it, but the entire thing vibrates a bit. It vibrates least by the handle area, but still vibrates there a little. It vibrates most at the "feet" of the product, and you put that on the area you want to massage. What I do is, I put the "feet" of the product on the area in pain or stiffness, and do some very light pressure, not hard pressure, and move it in circular motion, near, and on, the area in pain or stiffness. I get instant, fast relief, so that is quite amazing. Sometimes, I have to do it over and over for, let's say a half hour, at the most, when I have the most sever pain or stiffness. Then the pain and stiffness go away! But, most of the time, I only need to apply it for a minute or two, and that's all! It really works to make the pain and stiffness go away. I'm keeping one device with me all day, in my backpack, suitcase, jacket pocket, or car cup holder or other car container or car seat. I find the vibration very helpful for some stiffness & pain I get in my legs, feet & hands. The vibration, when you turn it on, is really the key element in the "massage" therapy of this product. The vibration does something to soothe my body, and reduce and eliminate pain & stiffness very quickly, without much effort nor any stress. Quite a remarkable, simple, but highly effective solution for this physical problem, for me. One caution, though, and that is, that, different people will get different results. naturally. I gave one to my 90 year old mother, who has lots of arthritis, and other pain & stiffness, and swelling, in her legs and feet, and hips. She tells me that it doesn't do that much for her, after a couple weeks of trying it every night. She does get a little relief, but nowhere near enough. But she won't return it to me, she does want to keep using it, so I assume she's getting a little relief, even though it's not enough. But for me, it works perfectly for my less severe pain and stiffness. The other issue is, with this model, it has a bad design for the battery compartment, where the door there easily can fall off & get lost. And then, the batteries won't work without the door, so it's useless. I prefer the other model, with the sort of frog like design, or other models with better battery compartments, which is why I no longer buy this model, and have switched to the other Homemedic or other brand designs. Other than that, this model works fine.
