My chiropractor uses the genie rub and that's what made me want to get this type of massager, but the genie rub is $200. For the price difference this one does just fine, if I had to guess what the rpm difference is between the two brands I would say this one is 200-400 rpm less than the genie rub. I think this one feels better without any of the screw on attachments on my back

Answer:	I use it on my feet, in a reflexology manner, for plantar fasciitis; as well as on my legs in an effort to break up fibrotic tissue (I have Lipedema, and have lots of fibrotic tissue that can limit mobility). That is primarily what I purchased this massager for, and so far I find it is pretty helpful in those areas.

Answer:	It is a pretty powerful massager, but I would imagine if you submitted it to enough resistance it would slow down. I haven't ever put a lot of force/pressure on it, because there is no reason to. The pulsing motion goes pretty deep with only a firm pressure; therefore, I cannot envision any advantage of putting alot of pressure on it. This is not a milk toast vibrator, but instead does go deep into the tissues. Hope this response helps.
