Question:	How long does it take to heat up
Answer:	It heats up very quickly and efficiently. Remember this is a vibrating massage and not a shiatsu style massage. I found the shiatsu to be more comforting and that is why I returned the product. Plus, it is a sit-on style massager which gives your upper thighs massage and heat. I found it uncomfortable sitting on it, as your thighs eventually get tired of feeling it digging into your legs even when it is not selected to massage that particular area. I am not a heavy person so wait was not a factor in my discomfort. If you are happy with vibration you will like this product. I prefer something that has no seat attached to it and just works on your back, it is difficult to find inventory of the shiatsu version of this product made by the same company. Perhaps there was a problem and they pulled them off the shelves I do not know but it keeps telling me that version is not available. Good luck and may you be pain-free!

Both broke. The company replaced the first one very quickly. But I just gave up on the second one. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
