My recommendation is: don't stop taking something after a short time (a week to a couple months), just because you haven't seen a difference. I have been using hair-skin and nails for a couple of years and it took a good 6 months before I noticed anything. Whatever works for you is great. If you don't start noticing a difference within 6-months, definitely go see your doctor. |

My thyroid doctor advised me not to take any B vitamins 2 weeks prior to my thyroid exam testing. Prior to that, no doctor (not even my PCP) told me to avoid all B vitamins before lab work. I always bring a "Type-Written" list of all supplements to all of my doctors/specialist exams. That way, they have all of my supplements on file and can advise me as needed prior to any surgery or lab work. |
