Answer:	I don't know what a swivel peeler is, but I can say the peeling blade does swivel a few degrees making it usable for right or left handed use. To add; this is an excellent parer and I will buy again from amazon because local stores only carry fancy and higher priced peelers that are junk. Buy it

Answer:	I was introduced to the carbon peeler in the army in 1958 they always stay sharp. The stainless steel ones in my opinion are crap. Every time I find a carbon peeler I buy it just in case they quit making them lol! They are wonderful for peeling potatoes, carrots, cucumbers and other vegetables. I hope that helps!

Answer:	I do not remember seeing where it was made on the packaging (which was discarded shortly after It was opened.) I just re-read the Amazon description which did not identify where it was made. I don't really care where it was made because it is the best peeler I have ever used. It feels good in my hand, it peels off very thin pieces of the vegetable being peeled, the "blade " is very sharp and it seems to be very well constructed with quality materials. My husband had one of the old-style linden peelers inherited from his parents which is at least 50 years old and still works great (a son took it with him when he moved away to college.)
