Prop 65, the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is a rule which states that any product containing specific ingredients associated with cancer or birth defects in amounts greater than specified by the state must have a warning label if sold in California. Question:	How is this different than normal jarred coconut oil you buy from like Trader Joe’s
Answer:	The difference between MCT oil and coconut oil you buy from Trader Joes is the price at $9.95 and MCT oil which is more concentrated can cost $15 to $30 a bottle depending on the brand. Coconut oil has MCTs in it, about 62 to 65 percent and concentrated MCT oil is almost entirely MCTs. Trader Joe's coconut oil is a very good quality and I use it in all my cooking and the MCT Oil I use by itself or in my bulletproof coffee. There are four different kinds of MCTs, which differ depending on the number of carbons there are connected to the fat molecules (this ranges between 6 to 12 carbons long). The MCTs in coconut oil are made up of about 50 percent of one kind (lauric acid), so the fact that coconut oil is mostly just one type of MCT is one reason that some people prefer concentrated MCT oils more. “MCT oils” usually have all four types of MCTs that can be difficult to get from other foods. Coconut oil is one of the best sources of lauric acid as you can see, which many studies have shown has antibacterial, antimicrobial and antiviral properties. Although about ninety percent of the fats found in coconut oil are saturated, a high percentage is not the very short chain MCTs that have less carbons (lauric acid has 12). Personally, I prefer MCT oil altough I do use the Trader Joes Coconut Oil in all my cooking. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Agreed with Jeff... according to the provided pictures there would be 1.3g of an unspecified MCT (likely Lauric Acid - C12). Depending on your needs, I'd go with something else that is 100% C8 and C10 -- furthermore, not listing this "ghost" ingredient is very off-putting!

I liked the idea to add hemp oil to MCT-oil, as it decreases the stress level and helps me to get rid of diet anxiety. So I think Organic Diet is 5/5, Bulletproof and Sport Research are both 4/5. But I think Sport Research is a bit more tasty and less smelly.

Answer:	Depends on how much you actually want to use, but yes. I brew my coffee, measure and pour this on top, and then I mix it in with a spoon. It doesn't mix the best, but it does help it to no not just sit on top.

Answer:	MCT oil would be better used on a salad or coffee. It doesn't have a good tolerance to heat. Also if you haven't used MCT oil, start off slow otherwise if you use too much you will be in the restroom a lot.

Answer:	a "serving" is usually listed as a tablespoon so in a 16oz bottle there are 32 tablespoons .. having said that, a serving as a practical matter is based on tolerance .. MCT can cause gastro distress .. best to start slow, maybe a teaspoon to see how you react, then increase up to 3 tablespoons a day .. In one study 22 grams (about a tablespoon and a half) was the therapeutic dose used to see improvement in Alzheimer's patients ..

Answer:	as i said in response to another question here, MCT is synthesized, real coconut oil isn't. furthermore, real coconut oil contains lauric acid, its main component, which is absent from all MCT products.
