We have noticed misinformation about palmitic acid in sea buckthorn circulating and we just want to over a few basics with you. Palmitic acid is the most common fatty acid found in plants and animals. It already exists naturally in our bodies. Our bodies can create palmitic acid with excess carbohydrates and our bodies use these fat cells to store energy.There have been clinical studies that show that isolated palmitic acid in high amounts can be harmful. Under the circumstances of a lab setting, palmitic acid can do some damage but those circumstances are completely different than when you eat palmitic acid in a natural way (not isolated or in high amounts).That’s because when palmitic acid is in its natural state (alongside other nutrients and vitamins) it is not harmful in the least. Not to mention that the chances of you ever getting isolated palmitic acid in your body is slim to none; unless of course you are a lab rat. I begin taking 2 with breakfast, and had cut it back to 1 cap at breakfast and 1 at bedtime or evening.Taking two in the morning dropped my BP very low, so low that I was dizzy and couldn't function. I went to bed and slept it off ea. day. It took me a week or so to figure this out. The directions should be changed to take one twice daily.

False advertising and the product contains mainly ethyl esters that could damage your pancreas and product is made using urea complex method in methanol that could produce the cancer causing agent methyl carbamate. I have the GC-MS chromatogram to show that this contains the ethyl esters and I will post shortly. Also, the company did not file the necessary new dietary ingredient notification for this and the ethyl ester form. Therefore, product is adulterated under the law.
