Answer:	I emailed the company about this very question I had. This is the response I received back! Thank you for your email. The Organic Superfoods product is far less about servings of fruits and veggies and vitamin/mineral content as it is about antioxidants and polyphenols - compounds that are not measured on the Nutrition Facts Panel. The ORAC value (Antioxidant value) is very high and each serving has 5 billion probiotics from Bacillus subtilis, 7g of organic fiber and a wide spectrum of phytonutrients. This is a small amount of a spectrum of 50 different superfoods per scoop so it not meant to replace say several servings of broccoli. It is really meant to be a complement to, not a replacement for, a well-balanced diet that includes a variety of real fruits and vegetables. Answer:	Not sure. All I know is I searched HIGH & low for a Green SuperFood that was not exorbitantly priced and had NO GMO's in it. This is mostly Organic and I trust it, I feel great and I've been drinking it for almost a year now, every day. Answer:	I have biopsy and blood test confirmed celiac disease and responded very badly over time to this supplement. Had all sorts of weird symptoms (especially in my legs) that I did not connect to this part of my diet for a while. As soon as I stopped adding this to my smoothies (and I LOVED it), these all disappeared. This company is pretty explicit as to which of their products are gluten free and this is not one of them. Answer:	Hi, don't worry. This very green powder can be perplexing, but if you turn it into a smoothie you'll love it. I started using this product in late 1999 for an autoimmune disease issue that almost killed me. It was so new it wasn't even in stores, yet. I couldn't swallow anything that wasn't liquid. I used apple juice, a banana, peanut butter and a scoop of the Perfect Food. I can no longer eat peanut butter, I am allergic, but use sun (flower) butter, which is delicious. You may have to taper up from half a scoop of Perfect Food for a week to 3/4 scoop to a full scoop, as it starts to help probiotics or friendly bacteria colonize in your gut. It does take a week or two, and it can be a little uncomfortable, but that is short, unless you don't take it for a day or two, and you may feel that again. For me, it's worth it. To this, you can add protein powder, meal replacement powder, a tablespoon or a cup of yogurt to make it creamier, or just mix it with water and drink. You can add any kind of juice, milk, or fruit. It improved my immune system function so well that I am a customer for life, and my friends started drinking smoothies with Perfect Food, and their friends started, too. One friend uses nonfat strawberry yogurt, soy milk, frozen strawberries and a banana with a scoop of Perfect Food. It's delicious. Her cats love it, too. She list weight and I was under weight, and my weght stabilized, too. Another friend gives it to her dogs. They love it (just don't use chocolate for dogs). I have substituted coconut milk for the juice, in addition to almond, hemp, rice, oat and sometimes soy milk. Answer:	I'm a picky eater with an easily triggered gag flex. Keep in mind that Green Vibrance changes formulation as new discoveries are made. It was my opinion that version 10 tasted powerfully "sour and grassy" and sat heavily on the stomach for a couple minutes. But in my opinion version 14.0 tastes "healthy". Sure it has a slightly "sweet grassy" flavor but it sits on the stomach quite nicely. I literally love the taste. As a picky eater I'm doomed to poor health. But version 14 allows me to eat what my research tells me is the best green superfood on the planet! Try the 15-day supply envelopes. Athletic Greens is in a completely different league. AG has a mushroom nootropic blend, digestive enzymes, and probiotics. Dr. Schulze's has none of these. Be careful of Schulze's pricing too!
