Maybe they don't add any ascorbic acid, but to say that their product "does not contain ascorbic acid" is just plain dishonest, if in fact it contains vitamin C. Try eliminating all ascorbic acid from your diet and see how fast you develop scurvy. I'd hate to think they're trying to create a misinformed cult around their product. Btw, vitamin C (i.e., ascorbic acid) from saccharomyces cerevisiae, a yeast reaction, is not exactly how nature chose to deliver ascorbic acid to the human species, speaking of back to nature...

My son is now 3yo and eats two. His pediatrician said that the main concern is that these may be a choking hazard for smaller children but he approved as long as the child is good at chewing.
