Answer:	I don't have a cat, but this is how I give it to my dogs. I use can dog food that has a gravy sauce, not a pate. The sauce hides the oil taste, I guess. Answer:	Hello Donna, each softgel contains a minimum of 280mg of Omega 3 fatty acids. The minimum EPA and DHA dose is 130 mg of each, but it is normally higher at 180 mg and 130mg (EPA/DHA). This is the ideal dose for a medium size pet, and that is why if it much higher than that, it may be too much for a smaller dog breed. Answer:	My friend who introduced me to Salmon Oil told me to refrigerate or it will go rancid. I find it dispenses better at room temperature. I buy the 32 oz size and pour it into the smaller 16 oz container. I refrigerate what is left of the 32 oz and leave the 16 oz bottle out for dispensing.
