Answer:	There's no need to refrigerate any of our products but it won't hurt much either. Cold temperatures help food stay fresh longer. The basic idea behind refrigeration is to slow down the activity of microbes (which all food contains) so that it takes longer for the bacteria to spoil the food. Our products are freeze-dried using a sublimation process to remove the moisture... this type of sublimation dehydration removes 98-99 percent of the moisture content. This leaves virtually no moisture; since microbes (viruses, bacteria, parasites etc) can't survive without moisture, this allows for an ultra pure product profile with a very long shelf life — of course, with no need for additives or preservatives. Studies have shown that freeze dried foods maintain their purity and nutritional value for up to 25 - 30 years! However, to better adhere to our small batch philosophy, we print an expiration date on the bottom of each bottle that is 3 years out from the date of encapsulation and bottling. Answer:	Yes, it's totally fine to open the capsules! Many of our customers find success by mixing the powder with tomato, cherry or kimchi juice... spicy kimchi juice is my personal favorite. If you go with the cherry juice, you can buy the juice, or do what I do at home... I mix a few organic frozen cherries with raw local honey, spring water and desiccated organs, blend, gulp and wipe face. Everybody in the family seems to like this one! Another idea is to mix the capsule/s with food that you are eating... for instance, I know many customers that mix our products with ground beef and ghee.

Answer:	Danamarie - There is no vitamin K4. You meant to say MK-4 version of vitamin K2. Otherwise, good info. Really, we should be taking both MK-4 and MK-7 forms so this is a limited formula.

Answer:	Ingredients: Vitamin K2(as Natural MK-7menaquinone-7) (From Non-GMO Natto Extract) 90 mcg. Other Ingredients: Non-GMO medium chain triglycerides, and olive oil. Softgel consists of gelatin, glycerin, purified water and organic caramel. No wheat, no gluten, no dairy, no egg, no fish/shellfish, no peanuts/tree nuts.
Question:	Is the source of D3 from lanolin
Answer:	While I have not and would not use the "Bone Up" formula, neither would I recommend purchasing Jarrow's MK-7. The "Bone-Up" formula not only has a small amount of MK-7, but the calcium source is not really very good and you have to take from 3-9 (depending on the formula) capsules/tablets a day. My personal commendation would be to get a good Calcium/D3 combo that provides at least 1,000 mg/IUs that you take 1 tablet once or twice a day. I use a Citracal formula, but you need to look for calcium citrate or calcium carbonate as they are more easily absorbed. If you want to take MK-7, you should know that it is important the manufacturer uses a quality "carrier" oil such as olive oil. The Jarrow brand uses evening primrose oil and soybean oil, which do not bind with MK-7 sufficiently. I'm speaking from experience. When I first started using MK-7, I used the Nutrigold brand. It was out of stock when I needed to re-order, so I ordered the Jarrow brand. I noticed the difference within a week. I now use Life Extension's Super K formula. Both the Nutrigold and Life Extension use olive oil as the carrier, both are currently in stock, and you take only one capsule daily.I'm sorry my answer is so long, but I believe in clarifying the reasons I have for saying yes or no on a product. Answer:	of course. when something is vegan-friendly, it's simply to inform that side of the market they are within their diet restrictions. if you are not vegan or vegetarian, then it does not apply to you. take as normal.

Answer:	I've had issues with the product coming with a short expiration date and dark spots. I now buy it locally, where I can check the expiration date and then I add more descent packs to keep mold from coming in. I don't take it if it's moldy.

Answer:	Folic acid is a heat-resistant form of folate. If you need pure folate, you should get it through food because otherwise it is susceptible to oxidation. The cancer risk of folic acid is EXCESS folic acid. (The same is true for EXCESS folate.) So if you eat a lot of fortified food, watch your supplementation levels.. Second, 5-methyltetrahydrofolate is considered by many to be superior to folate because it is the most active form. Also, people with the MTHFR gene must take their folate in this methylated form to process folate at all. As for people with G6PD deficiency, there have been recent studies that actually use folic acid supplementation. Best to speak to your doctor, because it is hard to find a B-complex that doesn't use folic acid. I use this because it has (mostly) the best forms of each B vitamin. It is also tested and approved by ConsumerLabs.

Answer:	It is the methylated form of folic acid. It is folate, NOT folic acid- it is misleading as the tradename is Quatrefolic. I myself am missing the gene to activate folic acid- to put the methyl group on it- so I cannot take folic acid either. This does what my body cannot. It already adds the methyl group to the folic acid making it the activated form of folate that my body is able to use.

Answer:	The WHITE bottle states: "Soy Free" and "Non-GMO". The white bottle version is the one I bought based on other feedback. Apparently the BLACK bottle does have soy. The WHITE bottle is made from sunflowers. This is the one most recommended.

Answer:	Yes, and the source for calcium is BONES..... bovine from New Zealand.

Answer:	Yes it is quite a bit larger. I took the 6 per day with no problem, then ordered these and struggled to place them right in my mouth so I could swallow them. If they had been a tablet there's no way I would have swallowed it but the capsule makes it doable. But these are the largest capsules I have ever seen or taken. I just finished the bottle and ordered the 6 a day ones again. Even though it is more to take it is just a lot easier to swallow them.
Question:	Is the gelitan in the capsule from bovine sources
Answer:	This is a very big subject about how the bodyalways tries to rebalance itself. Grow Bone, I have found, is a very supportive supplement in this balancing directive.
