Question:	Doctor recommend citracal 1200 slow release. nature's bounty are not slow release. is there a difference between them
Answer:	The difference I am aware of is that Citrical is calcium citrate and Natures bounty is calcium carbonate. Calcium carbonate is more common and cheaper. However, calcium citrate is more easily absorbed by the body. I have found through experience that it has fewer side effects (eg. constipation) and my doctor says that your bones benefit more from that form of calcium so the cost differential is worth it. Answer:	Mine arrived with the lid closed but when I opened it, the seal was broken and many chews were missing.

I am in my 70's and found that as an older individual I need 3 of these a day. Tracking my blood tests over the past 10 years my calcium is right in the middle of the suggested range in my blood. I have two chocolate and one caramel each day -- pretty tasty and beats the heck out of the "horse pills" lots of folks take.

Our only product with a flow constituent is our Bone Marrow... one of the reasons that bone marrow is so incredibly nourishing is because it is so rich in fat soluble activators which makes it impossible to flow through encapsulation machines. It is also made in an FDA inspected GMP plant where very high standards are maintained. There are trace amounts of lead in AlgaeCal similar to most other foods. Answer:	well I agree with the people who think it's wrong to say 1200mg... I was comparing the price to Sam's club calcium 600mg soft gels which SAY 600mg on the label, and then on the ingredients and serving size it does say to take 2/day and lists the total on the contents chart as 1200 for the 2 capsules, but they certainly didn't call their capsules 1200mg. THAT would have been false. If they show 600mg, then a person KNOWS that for 1200mg daily they would have to take two capsules and the bottle would last half as long. So that's my $0.02 and I will also shop elsewhere. :)
